The laid back atmosphere was great. Although I hate to say it but the food was average. Maybe it would have been better experience had the waitress known the menu. We ordered for two and only received one. Sorry can't give ya a great review.
Well the hunny got a shrimp poeboy and it was great until he was able to close it and pick up to eat it to find the bread was all moldy...not too good in my book!
I have travelled to nearly every bar from Maine, to Spo-Kane. This is hands down my favorite. Great food, great atmosphere, and my kind of joint! Love it!
Hucks is a great little place to sit out on the waterfront deck and have a beer and a shrimp basket or burger. The location, ambience , and local flavor is the real draw. Their food is pretty basic fare...burgers, poboys, shrimp and oyster baskets. if you are vegetarian there is really nothing to eat but salad and fries. They only sell beer in bottles (I like draft beer) and their service can be slow for food orders. On the other hand, their servers are always super friendly and helpful, their back deck seating is funky and fun, and you can arrive by boat (I have kayaked here twice).
