The first time that my husband and I stayed here I would have given them a four out of five because the bathrooms were funky but this go around they were nice and clean! This is our second time staying here and we love it! It is far out but not to far and there is plenty to do at the park itself. Great frisbee golf course and our pups love the dog park area. Will definitely be coming again and again.
A small state park, but nice. They have archery ranges, disc golf and plenty of hiking trails. It was quiet and peaceful.
Great park even though it is pretty small. Facilities are okay in terms of bath houses needing a little love. There is no interpretive center and really no interpretive exhibits to speak of. Someone in the administration invested heavily in an archery range and a nice disc golf course. As a park in general its second only to chickasaboug park if they dont stop with the 40 dollar deposit they gonna loose to shepard they have a honour system come in any hour put mony in slot no problemthey have every thing even archery the only down thought is that dang train stops everynight about 10 pm it makes a racket other than that it a super place
Park is on low ground, so prepare for mud and bugs after heavy rain. Maintenance was a little spotty in 2017 but now appears to be on the upswing. Extensive hiking trails, with disc golf, archery, boat launch, RV camping and more. I recommend the Oscar Trail for best hike.
